Notice that most of my foundations are high end only because it's very hard to find my shade in drugstores especially in Singapore and high end foundations usually have a wide range of color.

Oh yes and no matter what type of finish the foundation is, I always spritz my face with MAC's Fix Plus at the end. I have a few dry areas on my face, a few oily spots and some normal spots so basically, I'm everything.

And as for primers, I use the Smashbox Photo Finish oil free Foundation Primer or the Benefit Porefessional. Most of the time, I apply my foundations with a beauty blender or the Zoeva #102 Silk Finish brush or the Zoeva #124 Grand Stippling brush. I own 2 MAC foundations which is the Studio Sculpt, in NC42 and the Studio Fix Powder Foundation in NC43. Just a little bit of back ground info, I am a dark NC42 and a light NC44 in MAC so I'd say I'm right in between. Hey guys! So for today's blog post, I'd be listing down my foundation shades for comparison. All opinions on the products are my true feelings upon weeks and months of trial. I bought all the products with my hard earn money. It comes with a lot of product too, and I only need to repurchase it about two times a year.DISCLAIMER: I am not paid or affiliated with any of the companies that I am mentioning.

It is enough to slightly even out my skin tone when used alone and make my skin look less tired.

It is too thick to apply with a sponge, for me. If you apply a light layer with a powder brush, it does not make your face completely matte, which I like. It keeps your face from producing excess oils that break up your foundation and shine through. I touch up with it during the day about two times, any more than that and it looks very powdery, especially on my forehead and mouth. I can notice a serious difference in the lasting powder if I do not put this on straight after. Most of the time, I use it over my regular face makeup, which is primer, concealer, and liquid/cream foundation, and it keeps this stuff on for much longer. Otherwise, it looks pretty cakey and unnatural. It only works well if I use a dewy/oilier moisturizer underneath. When my skin is doing well, I use this as a foundation all by itself. I would recommend this for people to use only on special occasions and if they don't mind some breakouts after using it.įalse Excellent for cover-ups throughout the day It is a good high end makeup I just wish they could use ingredients that didn't cause breakouts. I have read that people have had problems with oxidizing and color change but I have never had that with any MAC products that I have used. My face never feels heavy or like I have a mask on when I use it. It gives great coverage and looks good but I have noticed if you don't use a primer it will cake by your nose.

It is also expensive so if you do buy it I suggest only using on special occasions. They do have a lot of shades to choose from so most everyone will be able to find the right color match.
